Elfo for the press.

IN SHORT

Elfo in two lines.

Elfo is a free iPhone app from Italy that organizes Christmas gifts: it remembers what your loved ones like, suggests gift ideas based on taste and budget, tracks your spending and runs the Secret Santa draw. Lists are shared with family, but ideas for someone always stay hidden from them.

Elfo was designed and built by Luca Piazza, an independent developer from Palermo, Italy.

WHO'S BEHIND IT

Made by one person.

Elfo is the project of Luca Piazza, an independent developer from Palermo, Italy, who designed and built it on his own: the app, the server, the website and the engine that suggests gift ideas.

"I've always loved Christmas," says Luca. "With Elfo I wanted to bring together my passion for building software and my love for the holidays." It also started from a problem everyone has: a gift list scattered across notes, chats and screenshots, and a Secret Santa organized in chaotic group chats.
